 w changes in patent law in view of The America Invents Act (AIA) have pla
 ced patent portfolios in turmoil. The AIA makes patent portfolio risk ass
 essment particularly important. What aspects of this new law create incre
 ased risk of liability?  Are the target patents likelier to be subject to
  challenge due to the new post-grant challenge procedures? Will those cha
 llenges be more frequent/expensive to defend? What other aspects of the A
 IA create increased liability risks? This webcast will answer these quest
 ions as well as address how patent holders can insure against these risks
 . It will also discuss the due diligence/audit steps needed to prepare fo
 r securing such insurance.  Lisa M. Brownlee will first introduce the top
