 \n
\n\n\nGoing Global: Doing Business in the Fastest Growing Economies in
  Africa \n\nDate: 05/22/2012 12:00 PM EDT\nDuration: 1 Hour \n\nDescripti
on: \nDuring the first decade of the 21st century, the fastest growing ec
onomy was not in  Asia. It was in Africa. Angola grew at 11.1%, while Chi
na?s rate was 10.5%. Among the top ten, six were in Africa -- Angola (1st
 ), Nigeria (4th), Ethiopia (5th), Chad (7th), Mozambique (8th) and Rwanda
(10th).  Over the next five years, the fastest growing economies are pro
jected to include seven from Africa ? Ethiopia (3rd), Mozambique (4th), T
 anzania (5th), Congo (7th), Ghana (8th), Zambia (9th) and Nigeria (10th).
As a whole, African countries are projected to shift from a 3% growth r
ate in the 1980s to a 5.5% rate by 2015, while Asian countries remain at
a 5% rate. African countries as a whole are already growing faster than A
sian countries. Unfortunately, too many US companies are not aware of thi
s shift of economic growth and business opportunities. Their Chinese comp
etitors have not, and have become the largest investors in Africa. This p
rogram will describe the legal and business aspects of doing business in
key economies in Africa. It will describe how to export, import and inves
t, as well as how to adjust to the cultural, social and political issues
that are unique to Africa. \n\n\n\nQuestions? Call 24-hour Tech Support a
