In criminal defense cases, computer forensics can be used in a wide array of situations including fraud, embezzlement, child pornography, internet luring, and murder just to name a few. This presentation is the first in a series of presentations tailored for the criminal defense attorney. It will give you a basic overview of how files are deleted and recovered, what types of data can be recovered from various electronic devices and learn the basics of what to ask the courts for to get your client a fair trial.
